So basically the nurse called me FAT! She was trying to find Jaycies heartbeat and she said "this baby has LOTS of room to move around and hide in there!" What a wonderful way to start off a morning. She eventually found the heartbeat among all the fat and it was 149 bpm. Faster than it has been but that's probably due to the donut holes and Dr. Pepper that I had for breakfast. Apparently those aren't good for her heartbeat or my weight!
Other than that, the appointment went well, they said everything looked and sounded normal and to come back in 4 weeks.
We are getting closer because they had me pre-register with the hospital this morning also! 16 more weeks until our little Princess is here!!

More of Jakes trailriding pics
As if Jake looking identical to Jacob wasn't enough proof that he was a Young, he also LOVES trailriding just like his daddy. Here are some more of his trailriding pics...another trailrider in the making!

Jake's 1st Easter Weekend!
We had a busy Easter weekend but Jake had a blast! We started out Thursday evening and went to some friends house for their annual trail ride. Jake went with this time and he loved being outside all weekend and riding his horse. Friday I kept him in the wagon with me and he was OK but got a little bored with just sitting there with me all day. So Saturday Jacob decided he would ride "Newt" so that Jake could ride with him some. Jake absolutely LOVED being on the horse and it probably helped that he was with Jacob. He is turning out to be a daddy's boy! I guess it will be a good thing when Jaycie comes for Jake to want to be with his daddy but right now, it kinda hurts my feelings that he wants his daddy the minute he sees him.

Then Sunday, we went to Houston to have Easter lunch at Nana & Pop's. Uncle Rick hired an Easter Bunny to come surprise all the kids and they were super excited. Well Cameron was anyways! Carson was terrified and Jake just kept looking at him and smiling. I really thought he would be scared of him.
We had a wonderful 1st Easter with our little cowboy! I can't believe he is 10 months old already.

This past weekends painting party...
I decided that a girl needed to have a pink room instead of tan/brown so my mom and I had a little painting party. I didn't tell her that our party would only consist of the two of us and lots to be done! I'm not so sure she would have agreed to come for the party had I told her the whole project that I had planned. I started painting the trim and doors white Friday afternoon about 2pm. Mom got to the house about 6 and we painted the solid walls and taped the first set of stripes that night, we finished up about 11:30pm. Jake woke us up about 5:30am and we were at Lowes at 7 to buy more paint. We painted the first set of stripes and while they were drying we went shopping. Came home and started painting again, we got it all finished about 4pm Saturday afternoon. What in the world was I thinking!! I never want to see another paint brush again. If this child comes out with a PeePee, he is going to stay in a pink room for hiding it from us. OR...Jacob and I will move in the pink room and the baby will get the brown room. I'm sure Jacob would LOVE that. :)

I also came to realize that sewing the bedding while having a 9 1/2 month old to tend to would be impossible so my step dad bought the bedding for us. He said he would buy it if he didn't have to come help paint. SMART MAN!!
We still have to get the bedding and crib in the room, they should be delivered this week.
We are some pics:
